Isolated RS-485 transceiver with integrated DC-DC convertor

A demonstration of a new an isolated RS-485 / RS-422 transceiver with an integrated DC-DC convertor. We set up an isolated RS-485 network with two evaluation boards, two computers, and two Arduinos. The controller-side power is supplied by the computers, and no separate bus supplies are needed. Isolation allows the computers to be on different power lines and more than a kilometer apart, which would be impractical without isolation.
