The King of Tokyo Street Racing

In 1982 a young street racer founded Mid Night, the team that made Tokyo's Bayshore Expressway famous and inspired the manga Wangan Midnight. His Porsche 911 Turbo, rebuilt by Porsche's own race development center, became the car readers know as Blackbird. On the evening of 21 November 2018, a Japanese tuning magazine published a conversation with him that had been sitting unpublished for nine years. The same day, the wires reported his arrest for selling a Porsche that did not exist. Six months later he was arrested again, over a Ferrari, while the first case was still before the court.
