Apache Plaza Bulldozer Bash & Demolition

This video includes segments from the Bulldozer Bash held March 20, 2004. The farewell party for the enclosed shopping mall was attended by more than 4000 people. Also included are clips from the demolition of the mall shortly thereafter in preparation for the construction of Silver Lake Village a new development of mixed shopping and apartments, condos and townhomes. The video is a clip of a 30 minute video showing the demolition of Apache Plaza and the construction of the elements of Silver Lake Village. It was produced in whole and donated to the St. Anthony Village Historical Society by Wayne Carlson, a prolific local historian, and early homeowner at Windsor Green Townhomes.
