In this video, I break down how Hirohiko Araki's nine JoJo Parts can be viewed as three connected trilogies: the Stone Mask Trilogy, the Stand Arrow Trilogy, and a final trilogy built around the mysterious blessings of the Earth. From Phantom Blood, Battle Tendency and Stardust Crusaders, to Diamond Is Unbreakable, Golden Wind and Stone Ocean, and finally Steel Ball Run, JoJolion and The JOJOLands, each trilogy introduces a supernatural idea, develops it and eventually pushes it further than ever before. But the connection goes deeper than the power systems themselves. Across all three trilogies, Araki keeps returning to ideas like humanity, the soul, fate, growth and what it actually means to live a meaningful life. And with The JOJOLands still ongoing, we may be watching the final trilogy complete itself right now. So yeah pretty much Jojo trilogies explained, with each Jojo trilogy explained a bit deeper.
