børhot — skumring #003 : skumring

The sun has gone below the horizon, but the sky refuses to sleep. In the arctic autumn this is skumring — a dusk that stretches for hours, not minutes. After the last full sunset, the light does not leave — it slides along the rim of the world and keeps the sky glowing from below, a grey-blue half-light that has no name. Day is over, night has not begun. The fjord holds its breath; the empty roads wait; even the birds are gone. It is not darkness and it is not comfort. It is the long in-between — and it will not let go until the first star finally arrives. This is BØRHOT — deep house from the edge of the Arctic Circle, where the endless half-light becomes a low end that pulses, and waits. #deephouse #arcticmusic #ambienthouse #chillmusic #nightdrive
