Big Yellowtails at Bay of LA

Over the labor day weekend, we headed out for a day of panga fishing with Fernando's Sportfishing. We loaded up the bait tank with mackerels, then headed out behind Isla Angel de la Guardia to look for deep rock piles. Upon arriving, it was red hot fishing. We dropped baits on deep high-spots and landed several larger grade yellowtail using a heavy dropper loop rig, and lost a few as well. Bay of Los Angeles never disappoints when it comes to fishing
