A little change of scenery for this update! Join me for a chat beside the canal as I share the latest progress on Nightmares Tower, my upcoming solo adventure compatible with 2D6 Dungeon. Development has reached an exciting milestone, with the first complete version of the adventure now in the hands of playtesters! In this video, I take a look at some of the latest additions, including the new illustrated Curse Cards and the Nightmare Level and Curse Tracker, designed to help players keep track of the tower's increasingly sinister influence over their character. I also answer one of the questions I've been asked most often by the community: What exactly is Nightmares Tower, and why are you going there? To answer that, I take you back to the beginning of the story. You are the newly appointed constable of a quiet village in Coradine, where an unsettling plague of nightmares has begun to take hold. As the villagers grow increasingly restless and frightened, a horrifying discovery at the local cartwright's home leads you towards a mysterious tower that everyone seems to have forgotten. What happened there? Why has the tower returned to everyone's memories? And what awaits you inside? That's where your adventure begins... We're still hoping to release Nightmares Tower in time for Halloween, although there's no confirmed release date just yet. Playtesting and feedback will help determine when it's ready. Thank you to everyone who has been following the project, offering encouragement and helping bring this adventure to life! Until next time, happy adventuring, and don't let the Dreadbugs bite!
