How To Draw A Perfect Pentagon Using 3 Circles -technical Drawing - Engineering Drawing

Draw a pentagon of side 40mm by 2 circles method (or 3 circles method). Construction: 6 1. Draw a line AB 40mm long. 2. With center A and radius AB draw a circle 1 3. With center B and keeping the same radius, draw circle 2 which will cut circle 1 at C & D. 4. With center C and radius equal to AB draw an arc to cut circle 1 and circle 2 at E and F respectively. 5. Draw a perpendicular bisector of the line AB to cut the arc EF at G. 6. Draw a line EG and produce it to cut circle 2 at point P. 7. Draw a line FG and produce it to cut circle 1 at point R. 8. With P & R as centers and AB as radius draw arcs intersecting each other at Q. 9. Draw lines BP, PQ, QR, and RA, thus completing the Pentagon.
