EM7.5(1)(English)(Chapman) Derivation of Induced Torque Eq by Thevenin's Theorem Derivation of the Induction Motor Induced Torque Equation by Thevenin's Equivalent Circuit In this video, an effort has been made to derive all induction motor-related formulae. Per-phase equivalent circuit of an induction motor has been used to derive Thevenin's equivalent circuit for induction motor. Synchronous speed and mechanical speed have been discussed, followed by the definition of induced torque, maximum torque, air-gap power per phase, and total air-gap power. Per-phase equivalent diagram has been used to derive Thevenin's equivalent circuit. Circuit current is calculated for use in deriving the air-gap power formula. This formula is used to derive the induced torque equation. Condition for maximum power transfer was found out, which was used to derive the max-torque equation. Finally, the equation for starting torque has been derived. #    / @electricalengineeringacademy   ElectricalEngineeringAcademy Email profkhannazir@gmail.com WhatsApp 923454030919
