I Pulled a Book I REALLY Wanted to Read… But Life Happened

📚 I pulled a book from my TBR jar… and then REAL LIFE happened. 😂 In this reading vlog, I choose my next book from my TBR jar, attempt to read it while life is incredibly busy, fall behind, and eventually finish a five-star Francine Rivers book! My TBR jar contains all kinds of books—Christian fiction, classics, young adult books, NetGalley books, and other books I've been wanting to read. This time, I also decided to read Leota's Garden by Francine Rivers, which was the August book for my Francine Rivers book club. What started as a simple reading vlog turned into a pretty honest conversation about reading pressure, falling behind, comparing yourself to other readers, and remembering that reading is supposed to be a hobby, not a competition. And ultimately… I FINISHED IT! 🎉 ⚠️ CONTENT NOTE: Leota's Garden deals with heavy family and generational themes and contains difficult situations involving grandparents, parents, and children.
