This requires precision. Ensure the boat is stable. Then disconnect all connections such as fuel and cooling water lines. Unscrew the engine mounts and carefully hoist the diesel engine out of the boat. Step 2: Clean the engine room Thoroughly clean the area where the engine was located, removing all oil and fuel residues. Step 3: Install the VETUS E-LINE electric motor Install the VETUS E-LINE electric motor in the boat. Thanks to the standard mounting brackets and flexible motor supports, the E-LINE can be installed on almost any existing motor foundation. Step 4: Installing the Battery Bank Install the batteries in a safe place. Then connect the battery bank to the motor. Ensure the correct thickness of wiring and insulation. After correctly setting the vibration dampers, align the motor by turning the adjustment nuts exactly the same number of turns both left and right, front and back. Step 6: Connect the wiring and control panels The next step is connecting the wiring and control panels. This is a crucial part for safety and functionality.
