Our Kuala Lumpur travel vlog takes you through KLCC, Bukit Bintang, TRX and Chinatown in one short trip. Between iconic views, shopping stops, immersive attractions, food hits and misses, and plenty of chaos, this was KL in full colour. I came back to Kuala Lumpur after 15 years, and this trip hit me in ways I did not expect. What started as a business trip became a nostalgic return for me, while Alvin got his first proper taste of KL at the same time. I stayed in KL from 2003 to 2010 before moving to Singapore, so coming back felt strangely familiar, slightly surreal, and very overdue. Some parts still felt the same. Some felt busier, newer and more grown up. Somewhere between the traffic, the weather, the skyline, the malls and the food, this trip became a mix of memory and first impressions. In just 2.5 days, Alvin and I explored some of the most popular parts of Kuala Lumpur, including Traders Hotel Kuala Lumpur, SkyBar, KLCC, Bukit Bintang, TRX and Chinatown. We visited major attractions like PETRONAS Twin Towers Skybridge and Level 86, Suria KLCC, Space & Time Cube Kuala Lumpur, Immersify Kuala Lumpur, The Exchange TRX, Pavilion KL, Petaling Street, Kwai Chai Hong, REXKL and Central Market Kuala Lumpur. This KL vlog includes a bit of everything: business trip chaos, nostalgia, first-time reactions, hotel stay moments, immersive attractions, shopping, good food, disappointing food, heavy rain, traffic jam, Ramadan rush, and the kind of ending that reminds you no itinerary is ever really under control. We mostly used Grab in Kuala Lumpur whenever places were too far apart to walk, and for the airport transfer, the KLIA Express between KL Sentral and KLIA2 made the most sense.
