At first, no one knew how serious the situation really was. Some of the residents became infected with the virus. And things began to fall apart quickly. Some residents fled the neighborhood, some died from the infection, while others transformed into violent creatures similar to the ones the protagonist had faced on the island. As the number of infected continued to increase, a much greater danger emerged: If the zombies escaped the neighborhood and the infection reached the surrounding areas, the disaster could spread throughout the city. That is why the protagonist returns once again. After successfully completing his previous mission on the island, he now faces a new mission: Eliminate as many of the zombies inside the neighborhood as possible and prevent the infection from spreading to the other neighborhoods. But this time, the setting is completely different. It is Halloween night. People are outside, and the streets are filled with the atmosphere of celebration. But inside this neighborhood, a completely different night has begun. A night of blood. A night of fear. A Halloween night turned into hell. The protagonist must move through the neighborhood, face the infected, search for resources and weapons, and fight to survive while trying to prevent the infection from spreading. But while carrying out his mission, he discovers something strange. There is a gate located somewhere inside the neighborhood. A gate that does not appear to be an ordinary place. At first, the protagonist does not know what lies behind it or why it is there. All he knows is that he must continue his mission. But as he gets closer to the gate, questions begin to arise: Who created this gate? Where does it lead? And what lies beyond it? But the answers will not be revealed in this chapter. The secret behind the gate will remain unknown... Until the next chapter of THE MUTANT series. And so, while the protagonist struggles to prevent a historic disaster that no one could have anticipated, what is happening inside this neighborhood may only be the beginning of something much bigger. The first chapter was about the island. The second chapter is about the neighborhood. But the gate... will open the way to the next chapter.
