Tiguan 2.0 TSI P0299 Code - DO THIS BEFORE REPLACEMENT

This is for a 2013 Tiguan 2.0 TSI Engine. Symptom was a lack of power, gas mileage, acceleration, and a P0299 Underboost code. The diagnosis with this code is usually a Diverter Valve and the Turbo itself bc of a wastegate failure that is very common. After replacing the Turbo, I still had the P0299 Code persist. This is what I did to diagnosis the issue for only $7. Please don't do what I did and replace the turbo without doing this simple and cheap test. Corrections: PCV (pressure control valve) not PVC assembly. And Male Industrial Air Compressor fitting, not a Schrader Valve. Outcome after replacing the PCV Assembly: TBD, Parts are on the way.
