SHADOW & KAYDEE LONG MORNING CHORTLES & PERCHING TOGETHER ON LOOKOUT SNAG! 💗 TANDEM FLIGHT! 10.20.26

Shadow & Kaydee roosted overnight in the Roost Tree & began a series of long pre-dawn chortles (along with other Big Bear birdlife). What beautiful music they make together! Kaydee will fly to the nest for a brief nest check and Shadow will fly off the RT and head to Lookout Snag. Kaydee follows him and both perch together to watch the sunrise ♥ They contemplate what to do for their day - Kaydee flies off first but Shadow is one second behind her and off they go! The next time we see them is in the early afternoon with a tandem flight together landing on Twin Pines! They have a long perching session of almost an hour and a half before Kaydee departs. Shadow stays a bit longer before he departs. Shadow is found on Cactus Snag with the fading sun shining down upon him. Shadow is a magnificent male eagle!! Kaydee sure stuck the jackpot coming to Big Bear. Shadow will depart from the CS and fly off - he and Kaydee roosted elsewhere for the evening. From the duet chortles to start their day, perching together on LS and TP, tandem flights in the territory, all show they have developed a strong bond together. The next couple of months will be important to see how active they become in nestortations & taking their relationship to the next level - in mating. ♥ Thank you for watching!
