US Fighter Jet Turns Back From Iran Mission After Russian Missile Lock? Dramatic Clash

The US has reportedly carried out small-scale strikes on Iran's Qeshm Island, with two missiles said to have hit an area near Suza Port. A US official reportedly confirmed the operation to The Wall Street Journal, while emerging reports have identified the weapons as Tomahawk cruise missiles. Tehran, meanwhile, claims its air defences targeted an American F/A-18 fighter jet and separately announced the downing of an MQ-9 Reaper drone. Neither the alleged aircraft interception nor the drone shootdown has been independently confirmed. The latest developments come amid rising tensions between Washington and Tehran, with questions remaining over the extent of the damage and the possibility of further escalation. #Iran #USIran #QeshmIsland #USStrikes #TomahawkMissiles #MQ9Reaper #FA18 #IRGC #MiddleEast #BreakingNews Times Of India (TOI) Is The Largest Selling English Daily In The World.
