British Airways 777 - approach and landing into Kingston Jamaica - dual view

Hi everyone. To be honest I wasn't really minded to put this video up as the weather on approach into Jamaica was extremely cloudy and hazy. This particular flight was taken several months ago. However I came up with the idea of combining this video with one I recorded on my last trip just over 4 weeks ago. On my last trip I chose a seat on the right hand side - which gives only a brief view of Kingston harbour prior to landing. I usually sit on the left hand side - but as they say - variety is the spice of life. The end result is that this video combination approximates a landing view of Jamaica as seen simultaneously from both sides of the aircraft. What makes this s particular video combnation work is that both approaches were remarkably similar in that the respective pilots decided to "cut off" Portmore, opting to do a sharper turn around Port Royal. I've only seen this manoeuvre twice to date. The main video was taken using a Panasonic hc-v500 camcorder, while the inset video was taken using a Sony NEX-5t camera. In practice I've found that the Sony camera gives a much truer colour reproduction than the Panasonic camcorder. I hope to visit Jamaica again in the spring - I'm hoping that the return flight will take off during daylight hours, allowing me the opporunity to film with the NEX-5T.
