This time, I tell you the complete story of how I fix up and revive a 1962 Buick Skylark. We start with priming the engine with oil and making sure the ignition system worked. Then worked through the brake system, wiring and even installed a windshield. Thanks to a cheap parts car, we were able to salvage a huge score of parts! It's not long before we drive the car every day. I am looking to sell the car at the time of posting the video (10/22/26). If you are interested and serious about buying the car, hit me up at the LSJess channel email: lsjessgarage1@gmail.com
On the LSJess channel we cater to the common man's automotive entertainment. This channel is video proof that you don't need a lot of money or experience (or if your like me don't need a lot of brains) to keep junk running and have fun cars. Its just me in my literally unfinished garage with regular-everyday tools and mechanical knowledge offering you tips and tricks and how to's trying to keep old worn-out junk on the road.
You will see content like my 1986 AMC Jeep XJ Wagoneer that's been updated with a junkyard '02 LS 5.3 that needs an engine rebuild, my 2008 Chevy Impala SS with the transverse mounted LS4 that I use for kind of a "how to" series showing how everyday people can maintain their cars to save some money, my budget 1962 "junkyard" or "hotrod" Buick Skylark with it's numbers matching aluminum 215 v8 that we have revived from is abandonment back in 1987, my 1964 Oldsmobile Cutlass also saved from abandoment, plus some customer work thrown in for a change of pace from time to time....and when the budget runs out haha.
If any of this is interesting to you, I highly recommend you check out some of my content. People have said my content is an interesting mix of Pole Barn Garage style with less budget and Mortske Repair level of quality repair.
If you do feel so inclined to comment, I read all comments. I also encourage people to let me know what they would like to see and I try to facilitate. I hope you find something worth sticking around for.
