MORE BRITISH SONGS I THOUGHT WERE AMERICAN! | 1990s UK Chart Number 1 Song! (1990 - 1999)

I reacted to every UK chart number 1 song from the 1990s (1990–1999) and I was genuinely shocked 😳 So many artists I always thought were American turned out to be British… and at the same time, the influence of American music on the UK charts was impossible to ignore. I know people in the UK might see this differently — and that’s exactly why this conversation is interesting. This isn’t disrespect, it’s an outside perspective from a Chicago dude experiencing 90s UK music in real time. Let me know in the comments: 👉 Which artists surprised you the most? 👉 Do you think the UK sound was more original — or heavily influenced by the US in the 90s?
