Minimal Ambient w/ Piano Loops & Distorted Tape | Center of the eye 2026-09-21 by atnr

Minimal ambient music built from clear piano loops and distorted piano sounds recorded on tape. This piece was created with a tape loop, microKORG S, and OP-1 field. The tape loop uses a one-minute endless tape with a recorded piano phrase. The tape player is connected to the MOOD MKII and monotron DELAY. The MOOD MKII adds delay, while the monotron DELAY is used mainly for filtering. On the microKORG S, a simple phrase is performed by hand. The output is processed through LOST+FOUND with delay and reverb. On the OP-1 field, a 16-bar piano performance is recorded and played back as a loop. On this channel I explore many styles of music using field recordings, DIY instruments, and hardware.
