This video explains what really happens to giant ships when they stop making money. They do not sink or sit in port forever. They are taken apart, and almost everything on board is reused. We cover how a ship is run onto a beach at high tide, what is removed first, how workers cut a hull into pieces, and why the job is so dangerous. We visit Alang in India and compare it with yards in Türkiye that work from a pier. We also follow the Seawise Giant, a ship over 450 metres long that survived a missile attack and ended its life at Alang. A dead ship is worth more than you think.
