Severne Fox, Gator 6.0 at the Lagoon, South Head Kaipara New Zealand

This is the first visit to this hidden gem of a place in 30 years. Its an inlet, quite shallow, but extremely flat conditions. The stars have to align to sail here, you need a rare NW wind, and 2hrs either side of high tide. Its way off the beaten track but its so worth the effort. This trip involved waiting for the wind, when it finally came it was marginal for the tide. But we got a reasonable but somewhat short session in.
