Jephthah (Carl Anton Wirth) - Rascher Duo (Sigurd Rascher & Carina Rascher) LIVE 1961

The Albany Symphony Orchestra Phillip Livingston High School Tuesday, February 7, 1961 Edgar Curtis, Conductor Sigurd Rascher - alto saxophone Carina Rascher -soprano saxophone #Rascher #ClassicalSaxophone #TopTones I would like to extended my deep thanks to Carina Rascher for assisting in making this performance recording widely available. It is a stunning example of the early days of the Rascher Duo - her father playing beautifully and she (only 15 at this time!) already showing a tremendous simpatico with her soprano saxophone. I'm really happy to be able to share it with you all.
