Review: 2020 Ford Escape Hybrid AWD

I spend a week with this 2020 Ford Escape Hybrid in its Titanium trim with the Premium package. With an as-tested price of about $39,000, this fully-loaded Escape is a mixed bag. There's many areas where the Escape is the nicest among its hybrid mid-size SUV competitors, but in other areas the Escape comes up a bit short, like in its acceleration and overall refinement. Still, with some of the best fuel economy in the compact SUV segment, the Escape can be an appealing option for those that don't like the Toyota RAV4 Hybrid or Honda CR-V Hybrid.
