*“Here Am I” — Songs of a Broken Man* This song is probably one of the closest I've come to putting my whole testimony into one song. For a long time, I thought I was in control of my life. I worked hard, chased success, built things with my own hands, and thought providing for my family was what made me a man. But there were things underneath all of that nobody could see. I carried shame. I struggled with lust and pornography. I made promises to myself that I would change, only to find myself right back in the same place. I couldn't break those chains on my own. Then Jesus changed everything. In October of 2024, I stepped into the water and was baptized. I didn't come out of that water a perfect man. I still had battles to fight and still do. But something was different. My direction changed. The old things I once tried to hide became things I could finally bring into the light. The chains I couldn't break through my own strength started falling because I finally understood that this wasn't about how strong I could be. It was about surrender. Then there was Jeremiah 33:3. I had been asking God for guidance and thinking of my testimony and how direct he had been with me.  That very night, how I ended my testimony with Jeremiah 33:3 kept repeating in my mind for some reason, wondering if I was really walking where He wanted me to walk.  And the next morning I woke up before my alram, looked at the TV that had been playing YouTube randomly through the night, and the verse displayed on the screen was: *“Call to Me, and I will answer you…” — Jeremiah 33:3* Some people might call that coincidence. I don't. That moment has stayed with me ever since. But *Here Am I* isn't only about where Jesus brought me from. It's about what I want to do with the life He's given me now. I have a wife to love. Two little girls watching the way their daddy lives. A home to build on the Rock. I want my daughters to know Jesus not just because Daddy told them about Him, but because they watched what He did in their dad's life. I want them to see me pray. See me repent when I'm wrong. See me get back up when I fall. And know that the man standing in front of them isn't standing because he was strong enough to fix himself. Jesus carried me here. So when I hear the words of Isaiah 6:8 — when God asks, *“Whom shall I send?”* — I know what I want my answer to be. *Here am I.* Whatever time I have left, wherever He leads me, that's the man I want to be. Not perfect. Not finished. Just willing. *Here am I, Lord.* All glory to Jesus. 📖 Isaiah 6:8 📖 Jeremiah 33:3 📖 Joshua 24:15 📖 2 Corinthians 5:17 🎵 *Here Am I* *Songs of a Broken Man — My Testimony Through Music* #HereAmI #SongsOfABrokenMan #MyTestimonyThroughMusic #ChristianMusic #ChristianTestimony #ChristianRock #SouthernRock #JesusChangedMyLife #JesusSaves #Isaiah68
