Durga and the Buffalo Demon Mahishasura: A Navratri Story for Kids

A gentle Navratri story teaching kids about the goddess Durga, how the gods gave her courage and gifts, and how she stopped the shape-shifting demon Mahishasura. Aishvika's Dadi lights a lamp and tells the story of how all the gods joined their power to create one brave goddess with many arms and a lion to ride. A lovely way to introduce children ages 5-9 to a Navratri story about courage, kindness and working together. Play the activities from this story here: https://learnwithaishvika.com/lesson/...
