She couldn't pay for the oxygen to keep them alive. HEI paid. Later, the girls were malnourished. HEI came back. And came back again. Today the twins are three, healthy and strong. One bill paid. One family kept whole. This is what HEI does. We pay the hospital so treatment can start. Then we stay. Today we launch One Call. One Life. Our goal: emergency care for 1,000 children and mothers in Nigeria by November 30. $35 funds emergency care for one child or mother Our social workers verify every case inside the hospital We pay the hospital directly, often the same day Somewhere in Nigeria Today, another mother is waiting for that call.
