From Poverty to Prosperity

JOSEPH WAS A SLAVE… SO WHY DOES THE BIBLE SAY HE PROSPERED? Is “prosperity gospel” unbiblical, or have we misunderstood what biblical prosperity actually means? In this teaching, we challenge the idea that prosperity is simply about money, possessions, or material success. We examine biblical accounts, like Peter’s tax situation, where Jesus told him to find the money in the mouth of a fish, to understand a Kingdom framework of prosperity. Joseph was a slave, but yet the Bible says he prospered. If prosperity was only about external circumstances, then when the scripture said Joseph prospered while being a servant, it wouldn't have made sense. What if Kingdom prosperity is less about what we have, and more about the condition within? What if prosperity can exist, even when your circumstances don't look prosperous?
