Revelation 12:9 – “And the great dragon was thrown down, that ancient serpent, who is called the devil and Satan” Isaiah 27:1 – “On that day the LORD... will punish Leviathan the fleeing serpent... the dragon that is in the sea.” Psalm 74:13-14 – God “crushed the heads of the sea monsters... you crushed the heads of Leviathan” So “Dragons” = fear, accusation, oppression, generational cycles, and Satan’s authority trying to rule your life. 2. 3 Ways DRAGONS GET BROUGHT DOWN 1. BY THE BLOOD Revelation 12:11 — “And they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony.” The cross already defeated the dragon. We enforce that victory. No dragon can stand where the blood has been applied. 2. BY THE WORD Ephesians 6:17 — “...the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.” Jesus brought the dragon down in the wilderness with “It is written.” Matthew 4:1-11 What you declare from Scripture breaks lies, fear, and delay. 3. BY THE SPIRIT + PRAYER Luke 10:19 — “Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy.” Isaiah 59:19 — “...the Spirit of the LORD will put him to flight.” Dragons thrive in silence. They fall when we pray, worship, and decree. 3. Signs A “Dragon” Is Operating 1. Cycles – Same attack every season. Job, money, health, relationships. 2. Accusation – Shame, condemnation, “you’ll never change.” Rev 12:10 3. Chaos – Confusion, division, delay around your purpose. Dragons live in “waters” = chaos. 4. The Mystery Behind It God’s pattern: Dragon Down → People Up Egypt had Pharaoh/dragon → Moses brought him down → Israel went up David vs Goliath → giant fell → Israel was lifted Jesus in the wilderness → defeated Satan → ministry began Cross → Col 2:15 “He disarmed rulers and authorities” → Church was born God lets dragons rise so He can show that He’s bigger. When the dragon goes down, your destiny goes up. 5. How To Bring Dragons Down Today Step 1: Identify – Name it. Fear? Addiction? Delay? Spirit of Leviathan = pride. Step 2: Apply the Blood – Repent, plead Jesus’ blood over your home, mind, children. Step 3: Speak the Word – Find 3 scriptures and decree them daily. Proverbs 18:21 Step 4: Stay in Worship – Worship is warfare. 2 Chron 20:22 Step 5: Walk in Obedience – Dragons lose legal ground when you walk in light. 1 John 1:7 Prophetic Decree: “Every dragon assigned to my family, career, health, and calling — I command you DOWN in Jesus’ name. The Lion of Judah has prevailed.” Rev 5:5
