Cobra RAD 490i v0.1.1.10 - 8.82 miles at Hackberry Flats on 35.5 KA Band - Run 1

Full 19 miles of linear test course Hackberry Flats. The Cobra RAD 490i is making its first appearance on this course. Testing with Kustom Signals Golden Eagle on Ka 35.545 GHz. Antenna on tripod outside vehicle, aimed and leveled. Wife is operating the radar and we are on the phone during the run. Her radar cam was switching between parking and recording so we lost most of the footage from her perspecitve This is a sub-baseline distance for this course at 8.82 out of 19 miles. Honestly it is closer to RAD 700i performance than we expected. 1st Alert @ 8.82 miles (8.89m 700i) Alert coverage is 43.28% over the entire course (46.98% 700i) The settings were Extreme Sensitivity, X/K/K Low Band/Laser off. The detector does not have the capability of turning filters off., but Extreme Mode Sensitivity is supposed to lessen the filtering a touch. #radar detector #testing
