Lisa Taylor is the Founder and CEO of Challenge Factory. Lisa Taylor started her career in strategy consulting and went on to run a country-level business unit for Hewlett-Packard in Canada, leading a consulting practice of more than a hundred people. When she asked her team, whose average age was 48 and who had been with the company for 18 years, what they wanted to do next, none of them knew how they would figure it out, and most planned to stay put until the mortgage was paid off. In her early 30s she left corporate to build a company around that gap: how demographics, longevity and intergenerational relationships are changing the way work gets done. For nearly 17 years Challenge Factory has grown from helping individuals test drive new careers, to equipping managers and organizations, to advising industry associations and governments on the infrastructure that lets people keep contributing at every stage of their careers.
