Making an authentic Viking Shield: Part 1 Shield body

In this video I describe how to start making the shield body and what materials to use. If you wonder why I do not show how to glue the planks together and saw out the shape, it is simply because that is simple woodworking. It is easy to figure out how to do that, and everyone should be able to do it without instructions.
