Amsterdam through 36 frames of film. Not one, but two rolls of Kodak Gold and Ultramax, one city, and everything I love about it.
I lived in Amsterdam for a while, and now we come back once a year. This time I brought an Olympus mju II — a point-and-shoot film camera from the 90s that fits in your pocket — and gave myself one rule: 36+ frames, 30+ things I love about this city.
Bikes, canals, trash bins, pistachio cruffins, ferries, tiny cars that shouldn't be on ferries, coffee that isn't a coffeeshop, and a film lab that lost and found my wife's roll.
Shot on:
Olympus mju II (Stylus Epic) — Kodak UltraMax 400, Kodak Gold 200
Olympus OM-1 — my wife's camera
Sony a7C II — video
Developed and scanned at Analog Lab, Amsterdam; Carmencita Film Lab, Barcelona.
