Come with us to River Wonders Singapore! 🐼🌿
Our family is now in our fourth year of having a Mandai annual pass, so we’ve visited Singapore’s wildlife parks many times over the years.
We usually visit Singapore Zoo the most, but River Wonders is our go-to when we want something a little easier and more relaxed with the kids.
The park is compact, mostly sheltered, and very stroller-friendly. You can usually explore it in around 1–2 hours, making it a great option for families with young children, rainy days, or simply when you don’t want to spend an entire day at a wildlife park.
This time, there was a special panda event and the area was much more crowded than usual. Unfortunately, we could barely see the pandas! 🐼
But this definitely isn’t our usual experience. River Wonders is normally much quieter, so I’ve included some footage from one of our previous visits to show you what it’s usually like — when we could actually take our time and watch the pandas.
The boat ride was also temporarily closed for maintenance during this visit, so we weren’t able to ride it this time.
If you’re visiting Mandai for the first time, I personally think Singapore Zoo or Bird Paradise has more to see and may feel more exciting.
But after four years of having an annual pass, we’ve really come to appreciate River Wonders for what it is — an easy, relaxed family outing that doesn’t require a full day.
Sometimes, especially with kids, that’s exactly what we’re looking for. 🌿
