Pea Soup Duluth Arrival! Foggy Lake Superior! I bet the Algoma Innovator could not see the bow!

The Algoma Innovator making their 2nd salty Duluth arrival for the season July 26 at 10:09 in the extremely foggy morning. The Innovator is arriving to discharge processed salt at the Hallett 8 dock in Superior. The cruise up the river from the bridge to the Hallett 8 dock took them 73 minutes, arriving at 11:22. For the next 8.3 hours the salt flowed smoothly out of the holds and they departed the dock at 19:40 in the early evening, heading down river to depart Duluth and sail up to Thunder Bay ON to load Wheat at the Cargill Grain Elevator for Buffalo NY.
