I hope you enjoy my first playthrough of 3. Please let me know what you think of this game in the comments below :) Yakuza Kiwami 3 (part of Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties) is the brand-new full remake of Yakuza 3 released on February 12, 2026 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC, rebuilt with modern visuals, refined combat, and extended narrative content using the Dragon Engine. The game follows legendary ex-yakuza Kazuma Kiryu as he fights to protect his loved ones while balancing life at the Morning Glory orphanage and combating rising threats in Kamurocho and Okinawa. Included in the same package is Dark Ties, a fresh side story spotlighting antagonist Yoshitaka Mine and his descent into the criminal world, offering a deeper character arc and new gameplay elements. Together, these experiences blend cinematic storytelling, classic beat ’em up action, rich side content, and fan-favorite minigames, making Yakuza Kiwami 3 a modern reboot that honours the original while expanding the Like a Dragon series legacy.
