Hazrat Syed Pir Mitha R.A: One of Lahore’s Earliest Sufi Saints | Syed Mitha Bazar

Hazrat Syed Mitha (R.A), also known as Syed Abdul Ghaffar, was a revered Sufi saint of Lahore. His family migrated from Khwarazm during the invasions of Genghis Khan, and his father Syed Jamaluddin established a legacy of piety and respect. Known for his sweet speech and noble character, he became one of Lahore’s most beloved spiritual figures, belonging to the lineage of Hazrat Imam Hussain رَضی اللہُ تعالیٰ عنہ. He is buried in Lahore, and his shrine—Shrine of Syed Mitha—remains a place of devotion and remembrance for visitors today.
