Episode 83 is here and this one came together really nicely. Deep and melodic to start, building through progressive trance and finishing with some serious energy. Loads of great tracks from labels I always love digging into — Anjunabeats, Coldharbour, Black Hole, Enhanced Progressive and more. Marsh opens things up with Home, the debut release on his brand new Marshan Records label. Beautiful, patient, exactly the right way to ease into a set. Matt Fax follows with Origins on Enhanced Progressive and from there it flows naturally into Spellbound from Alex M.O.R.P.H., JES and MRPHLNDR — that one is an absolute gem. As the energy starts to build, Ferry Corsten and Marsh link up on Attraction, which is a gorgeous collab, and Daniel Wanrooy delivers one of his best in a while with Gone on Wake Your Mind. Oliver Smith's take on the Atlantis classic Fiji still sounds incredible — some tracks just don't age. The middle stretch is where it really kicks in. ALPHA 9 with Dark Matter, Ilan Bluestone's remix of Feel The Beat, Darren Tate and Genix on Taking Us Higher — that run hits hard. Farius with Cold Apex and Robert Nickson's Nine Lives keep the momentum going perfectly. The closing stretch doesn't let up. Kryder, Super8 and Tab twice, Gareth Emery and Markus Schulz all feature before Binary Finary and Paul Oakenfold close things out with 1998. Classic record, still works every time. 83 episodes in.
