The Alien Dropship is finally complete! 🚀 Download -   / ud-4l-cheyenne-171020949   https://fab365.net/items/3159 This Alien Dropship involved quite a few structural challenges in order to reproduce as many of the functions and movements seen in the movie as possible. In particular, there are many thin and delicate parts, as well as components that require small, precise movements, so high-quality 3D printing is important. If the print quality of some parts is not satisfactory, I recommend carefully smoothing the surfaces or connection points with a knife or other tools before assembly. As always, please make sure that all parts fit properly before assembling them. In particular, some of the left and right parts may look very similar, so please carefully check their orientation and position before assembly. Also, forcing parts together when they do not fit properly can cause problems not only during assembly, but also with the operation of the moving parts. If any part does not fit properly, please check it first and carefully adjust or clean up the part as necessary before continuing with the assembly. 🔧 Hinge Mechanisms Using 1.75 mm Filament For this model, I used 1.75 mm filament as hinge pins in many places to create movement in the thin and delicate parts. If the filament does not fit easily into a hole, I recommend first clearing and aligning the hole using a thin tool such as a clog poke, which is often included with a 3D printer. Then, slightly sharpen the end of the filament, and it will be much easier to insert it through the hole. This technique can be very useful when assembling small hinges and moving parts, so I hope you find it helpful. 🎬 Part 1 – Main Parts Assembly This Alien Dropship is one of the most complex models I have created in terms of the number of parts. Since the complete assembly process would be extremely long and complicated if shown in a single video, I decided to divide the assembly guide into two parts: Part 1 and Part 2. In Part 1, I show how to individually assemble the main sections of the Dropship, excluding the landing gear. You can follow the assembly of each section step by step and see which parts are used and how they fit together. Because there are so many parts and the structure is quite complex, I have tried to make the video as detailed as possible so that those who actually print and assemble the model can use it as an assembly guide. The video is approximately 23 minutes long, which may feel a little lengthy, but I wanted to show the important steps of the actual assembly process without skipping over them. 🎥 Using a Body Camera for the First Time Starting with this video, I also used a body camera to film the assembly process. Since this is my first time using this type of equipment, I am still getting used to it, so some of the camera movements and transitions may not be as smooth as I would like. I appreciate your understanding and patience as I try this new filming method. As I become more familiar with the body camera, I hope to make the assembly videos even easier and more comfortable to follow. 🚀 Part 2 – Final Assembly In Part 2, I will combine all of the main sections completed in this video, assemble the landing gear, and show the process of completing the entire Alien Dropship. Therefore, if you are planning to print and assemble this model yourself, I recommend referring to both Part 1 and Part 2. In Part 1, each of the main sections is assembled individually, and in Part 2, they are brought together to complete the model. Watching the two videos in order should make it easier to understand the overall structure and assembly process. Although this is a relatively long 23-minute video, the Alien Dropship has a complex structure and many moving parts, so I recommend taking your time and following the assembly step by step. I went through quite a few trials, errors, and structural challenges while developing this model. That makes me especially happy to finally be able to share the completed Alien Dropship with you. I hope this video will be helpful to everyone who plans to print and assemble the model themselves. Part 2 is coming soon. Stay tuned! 🚀
