Ibn Arabi taught that this world treats you exactly according to the eye you looked at it with. Not the events. The eye. And most people never learn which eye they are using.
He named two: the eye of trial, and the eye of honor. Both are true. Both are found in the Quran. But each one obligates you to something completely different — and taking the eye without taking its obligation is how sincere people quietly ruin decades of their lives.
In this video we follow Ibn Arabi's counsel line by line: why the eye of trial produces taqwa and muhasaba, why the eye of honor produces shukr and relentless striving, and why he says the treatment always follows the looking. We go into his teaching on istidad — that Allah discloses Himself to every creature according to its own capacity to receive — and the hadith qudsi that stands behind all of it: I am as My servant thinks of Me.
Then we name the third eye. The one Ibn Arabi never listed, because it is the one almost everyone is actually using. It obligates nothing at all, and that is precisely what makes it the most expensive eye a human being can own.
You will discover:
Why Ibn Arabi says the eye of trial without its obligation makes a person careless, not careful
The difference between taqwa and the anxious dread that imitates it
How the eye of honor turns every event into a mazhar and a tajalli — a place where the Divine Names appear
Ibn Arabi's teaching on ayan sabita and istidad, and why nothing is withheld from you but nothing enters you without a room prepared for it
The third eye — the eye of ownership — and how ghaflah became the default vision of the modern world
The single verse where a prophet looks with both eyes at once, in one glance, at one object
And near the end, one Quranic sentence that lets you hold gift and responsibility together without either one canceling the other.
Write in the comments: "Let me look with the eye of honor."
