After their father remarried and went to live with his new wife in town, the girls remained in the village at their grandparents’ home with Grandpa Joseph and Grandma Moru Nakale. Join Rakel as she washes her legs, gets dressed, and climbs onto a boda boda for her journey to town. Watch as she shops for kitchen utensils, groceries, and other essential food supplies for the family. Along the way, enjoy beautiful mountain views, hotels, town buildings, and the busy streets filled with the noise and excitement of town life. For Rakel, the change of environment brings a refreshing experience away from the quiet village.
