The picturesque foreshore of Newcastle Harbour, NSW Australia is the setting for the firing of the WWII guns at Fort Scratchley on the holiday long weekend in October 2012. Filmed from the suburb of Stockton on the peninsular across the harbour entrance.The guns fired in anger during WWII against a Japanese submarine which shelled the city on 8th June 1942.
