PJ Brown (Age 38) shuts down Pau Gasol - 2008 NBA Finals

PJ Brown's complete shutdown of Pau Gasol is one of the most underrated defensive Finals performances in history. Brown played limited minutes for the Celtics, and his box score stats weren't impressive, but his defensive impact was enormous. Gasol became extremely passive when Brown guarded him, in large part due to PJ pushng Gasol outside of the paint and denying him good post position. PJ also forced Gasol into a large number of turnovers in the stretches that he guarded him. Brown also made great plays on help defense countless times, but most of them were cut out for time's sake and to focus more on his defense on Gasol. Brown would retire after playing his last game in Game 6 of the 2008 Finals, winning the first and only championship of his career
