45000 cars and counting: I meet Lebanon‘s world record car collector Billy Karam

In this episode, I visit the Billy Karam museum. Billy Karam is the 8-time Lebanese rally champion, and an avid model car collector. What began as a childhood hobby turned into the world‘s largest model car collection, recognized by seven different Guinness World Records. The museum is closed when I arrive, but they make an exception and open their doors just for me! Clearly, car enthusiasts and cyclists can be friends - at the end of the day, we all just want to be safe on the road. Later that day, I meet up with Christopher and his family in the beautiful mountain village of Bikfaya. I met Christopher for the first time during the Volunteering Marathon in Douma - we stayed in touch, and now I get the chance to meet his wonderful family.
