In this English lesson, I’ll help you learn some common English action verbs that you might not know yet! Action verbs are an important part of everyday English, and learning them will help you describe what you and other people are doing more clearly and naturally. In this lesson, you’ll learn English verbs like: bend, kneel, lean, stomp, march, chase, drag, stack, press, scratch, rip, mop, pedal, honk, stamp, flip open, squirt, scoop, pluck, and detach. I’ll explain what each action verb means, show you a picture to help you understand it, and give you example sentences so you can see how we use each verb in everyday English. I’ll also talk about some related words and phrases along the way to help you expand your English vocabulary even more. As you watch, try to think about situations in your own life where you might use each of these verbs. You should also practice by making your own example sentence for each one!
