CAD Piping Input : Direct Distance Example

Direct distance is a drawing technique that takes just a little practice. But it plays a really vital role when it comes to inputing points accurately in CAD. To draw the pipe below we used Direct Distance Entry directly inside of Mech-Q. By first activating the ORTHO (F8) or POLAR (F10), we simply move our pointer to the right, type in our distance and press ENTER. Lastly pressing ENTER again completes the pipe. Leave Comments Thanks!
