Jantar Mantar Protest 2.0 कैसे खत्म हुआ? Delhi Police ने क्या-क्या किया? |Gyanesh Kumar

A major protest took place at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar on October 2, with opposition parties, student organisations and civil society groups raising concerns over the functioning of the Election Commission, the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls and demanding action against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. The protest was part of the wider “Save Democracy” campaign announced by the INDIA bloc and other groups. Delhi Police had denied permission for the gathering and imposed restrictions in the New Delhi district, while security was tightened around Jantar Mantar and several nearby Metro stations. Several political leaders and protesters, including AAP leaders Atishi and Sanjay Singh and CPI(M) leader Brinda Karat, were detained during the protest. Delhi Police sources later said around 1,100 protesters had been detained. The copyright ownership in the video rests with India Today Group.
