If you’re from rural Ireland, you know the torture of a day in the bog bringing home the turf. 😂🇮🇪 It’s hard work. You’re wrecked by the end of it. And somehow, there’s always another trailer load waiting… But there’s also something very special about days like this. Country life has a way of bringing people together. There’s an unwritten rule in rural Ireland, you scratch my back and I’ll scratch yours. Nobody is looking for anything in return. If a neighbour needs a hand, you show up and get stuck in. Running a farm comes with plenty of stress and pressure, but having good people around you makes the hard days a hell of a lot easier — and usually a lot more enjoyable. Our day bringing home the turf was exactly that. 🚜 Tractors 🟫 Turf 💪 Hard graft 🤝 Good neighbours 😂 And plenty of craic Sometimes the job itself isn’t what you’ll remember.
