Weightless In My Breathing

Weightless in My Breathing moves through the shadowed space between vulnerability and surrender. Built around a slow, hypnotic pulse, the piece carries an intimate, nocturnal quality, music that seems less concerned with arriving somewhere than with remaining inside a feeling. Anu’s vocal is the emotional center of the track: restrained, close, and quietly haunting. Repeated phrases become almost mantra-like, allowing the words to gradually lose their literal edges and become part of the rhythm itself. The imagery of breath, water, darkness, and light gives the song a dreamlike sense of suspension, as though everything is happening somewhere between waking and sleep. There is melancholy here, but also release. Weightless in My Breathing is ultimately about that fleeting moment when we stop resisting what we feel and simply allow ourselves to become weightless within it.
