ലഡാക്കിന്റെ പരമാധികാരവുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട വിഷയത്തില്‍ ചൈനയുടെ എതിര്‍പ്പിന് മറുപടിയുമായി ഇന്ത്യ. ലഡാക്ക് കേന്ദ്രഭരണ പ്രദേശം ഇന്ത്യയുടെ അവിഭാജ്യവും വേര്‍പെടുത്താനാവാത്തതുമായ ഭാഗമാണെന്ന് വിദേശകാര്യ മന്ത്രാലയം വക്താവ് രണ്‍ധീര്‍ ജയ്സ്വാള്‍ വ്യക്തമാക്കി. ചൈനീസ് പക്ഷം എത്ര നിഷേധിച്ചാലും ഈ യാഥാര്‍ഥ്യത്തില്‍ മാറ്റമുണ്ടാകില്ലെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം വ്യക്തമാക്കി. ലഡാക്കിലെ 28 തന്ത്രപ്രധാന സ്ഥലങ്ങള്‍ക്കും ഭൂമിശാസ്ത്രപരമായ സവിശേഷതകള്‍ക്കും ഔദ്യോഗിക പേരുകള്‍ നല്‍കി സര്‍വേ ഓഫ് ഇന്ത്യയുടെ ഭൂപടത്തില്‍ ഉള്‍പ്പെടുത്തിയ ഭാരതത്തിന്റെ നടപടിക്കെതിരെ ചൈന രംഗത്തെത്തിയ പശ്ചാത്തലത്തിലാണ് വിദേശകാര്യ മന്ത്രാലയത്തിന്റെ പ്രതികരണം. ലഡാക്ക് കേന്ദ്രഭരണ പ്രദേശത്തിന്റെ ഭൂമിശാസ്ത്രപരമായ സവിശേഷതകള്‍ കൃത്യമായി രേഖപ്പെടുത്തുന്നതിനും ഔദ്യോഗിക ഭൂപടങ്ങളില്‍ ഏകീകൃതമായ പേരുകള്‍ ഉറപ്പാക്കുന്നതിനുമുള്ള നടപടിയുടെ ഭാഗമായാണ് 28 സ്ഥലങ്ങള്‍ അടയാളപ്പെടുത്തിയതെന്ന് വിദേശകാര്യ മന്ത്രാലയം അറിയിച്ചു. ലഡാക്ക് ഭരണകൂടവുമായും പ്രാദേശിക പങ്കാളികളുമായും കൂടിയാലോചിച്ചാണ് ഈ നടപടി സ്വീകരിച്ചത്. സ്ഥലങ്ങളുടെ കൃത്യമായ തിരിച്ചറിയല്‍, ഔദ്യോഗിക ഭൂപടനിര്‍മാണത്തിലെ ഏകീകരണം, അതിര്‍ത്തി മേഖലയെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള പൊതുജനങ്ങളുടെ അവബോധം വര്‍ധിപ്പിക്കല്‍ എന്നിവയാണ് ഇതിലൂടെ ലക്ഷ്യമിടുന്നത്. ലഡാക്കിലെ സ്ഥലങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് ഇന്ത്യ ഔദ്യോഗികമായി പേരുകള്‍ നല്‍കിയതിനെ ചൈന ശക്തമായി എതിര്‍ത്തിരുന്നു. ലഡാക്ക് കേന്ദ്രഭരണ പ്രദേശത്തിന്റെ രൂപീകരണത്തെ അംഗീകരിക്കുന്നില്ലെന്ന നിലപാടാണ് ചൈന വീണ്ടും ആവര്‍ത്തിച്ചത്. India has responded to China’s objections regarding the sovereignty of Ladakh, asserting that the Union Territory is an integral and inalienable part of the country. Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal stated that no amount of denial by China would change this reality. The response comes after China objected to India’s move to assign official names to 28 strategically important locations and geographical features in Ladakh and include them on Survey of India maps. The Ministry of External Affairs said the identification of these 28 locations was part of an initiative to accurately document the geographical features of the Union Territory of Ladakh and ensure consistency in official maps. The exercise was carried out in consultation with the Ladakh administration and local stakeholders. Its objectives include ensuring the accurate identification of locations, standardising official map-making and increasing public awareness of the border region. China had strongly opposed India’s decision to officially name locations in Ladakh, reiterating its position that it does not recognise the formation of the Union Territory of Ladakh.
